Work of Art Community was founded in 2018 by high school students Li Shen and Tanvi Kulkarni, with the goal of serving the community through creativity. With the help of Kelly Zhou, Melody Jiang, and Anya Chai, WOAC recruited 50 volunteers at Jasper High School, creating its first high school chapter. We are now a registered not-for-profit organization, with three high school chapters and over 100 volunteers.
